polis has hosted  3 important networking meetings at the Hilton Vienna Danube in November 2008:

• 1) The 14th EDC/HRE Coordinators Meeting, an event organised within the context of the Council of Europe programme "Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights" - EDC/HRE (2006-2009: "Living and Learning Democracy for All")
  13 - 15 November 2008

 

• 2) The Conference "Intercultural Dialogue - Challenge for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education" of the DARE network - Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe
  14 - 16 November 2008

 

• 3) A networking meeting of Austrian EDC multipliers with the title "Was kann und soll Politische Bildung an Pädagogischen Hochschulen leisten? Überlegungen zu einem gemeinsamen Weg in der LehrerInnenausbildung für Politische Bildung" (organised by the BMUKK, Federal Ministry of Education, the Arts and Culture in cooperation with the Danube University Krems)
  13 - 15 November 2008
